Central are available to undertake all types of work associated with asbestos abatement from the inception of the asbestos problem to its ultimate solution.

Consultation and Advice

We are able to offer no obligation support and advice when potential clients encounter an asbestos related problem, furthermore we will visit the location where the potential problem exists and offer our recommendation accordingly on how to deal with asbestos abatement. We can prepare quotations, Method Statements & Risk Assessments to allow our clients to progress matters without disruption to their normal activities wherever possible.

Asbestos Surveys

Central can provide full comprehensive site surveys. Types 1, 2 and 3 as required by MDHS 100, using BOHS accredited surveyors. All reports are computerised using proprietary systems.

If you intend to undertake major refurbishment or indeed demolish part or all of your premises then you must undertake a type 3 survey, which is a full intrusive survey to establish the whereabouts of all ACMs prior to work commencing.

Asbestos Abatement Services

Central provide a full abatement service for asbestos containing materials (ACM's) Some examples are:

• Immediate same day response in an emergency, where regulations allow
• Removal of asbestos insulation from pipework, plant & equipment, boilers, furnaces and the like, likely to be found in power stations, refinery's, boiler rooms, service ducts, pipe bridges, ceiling voids, internal or external plant.
• Removal of sprayed limpet asbestos from structural steelwork, intermediate floors in buildings, ceilings and walls used for fire protection and acoustic applications
• Removal of asbestos insulation boarding used to provide fire protection in buildings around structural steelwork, used to construct partitions, false ceilings, fire breaks in larger ceiling voids such as CLASP buildings, commonly used in domestic properties as fire protection in meter cupboards, drying and airing cupboards, externally as soffits and fascias
• Removal of textured coatings (Artex®) from walls and ceilings before major refurbishment or demolition. Central are one of the leading contractors in this field, using our own in house system that has reduced the need for costly labour and unreliable methods
• Removal of asbestos cement products
• Decontamination of areas contaminated with Asbestos Containing Materials & Debris
• Environmental cleaning
• Encapsulation, sealing and labelling for all types of asbestos
